Thesis Paper:
Action Project Description:
My action project came in the form of an experiment, testing my own ability to grow a fungus that I have never experimented with before. I grew a mushroom called cordyceps militaris using a method called in vitro growing. My goal was to at least reach a point where I had a product that could be consumed and while I did reach that point I still have a long way to go. My next goal is to use this first batch of mushrooms to grow my next generation. This will improve my spore quality and the general genetics of the fungi.
