Action Project Description:
Before Senior Project had even begun, I knew I was going to research something regarding art. Therefore, I was going to get to create something! After doing the research needed, I knew I was going to have to create something aesthetic, symbolic, and pleasing to the eye. These points definitely helped me decide what I wanted to create: the painting of a flower. The aesthetics come in to play here with color. Purple and yellow being opposites on the color wheel, it is aesthetically pleasing to see them used together (as well as blue and orange, red and green, etc.). Symbolism, on the other hand, is a very individual subject, so I tried to incorporate that in the eyes, making them look up to symbolize growth.
