Thesis Statement:Visual arts are crucial to personal development and mental health, they benefit and enhance cognitive thinking in educational settings, can be used to help treat mental illness, and can improve physical health.

Action Project Description:
For my senior project I made a large painting on a board to show how creativity can help in many different aspects of our life. The woman in the painting is black and white and is focusing mostly on the mental health portion of my thesis, her hands covering her ears shutting out what is around her. Around her are colorful lines to show how accessible creativity is and how we can use it more.
